whoa , I did not know this went thru . But yea hello everyone , I have been "lurking" here for a few weeks just checking out what people had to say and if it was worth a registration. And I must admit this site is very informative and on the right track , not much BS , just alot of good people in our industry actually sharing there experience with each other and being positive .

Just alittle background for those of you that dont know me, I worked with Schwing America as a boom Inspector/welder from 2002 till
last may when I resigned and went into business for myself as an Independent Inspector. Its been a real learning curve as this is the first time in my life I have worked for myself. But so far so good and my mortgage still gets paid on time. My main career is welding and I have been doing that for well over 20+ years , then i found Schwing and my life changed directions when they hired me as an Inspector and moved me and the family from Minnesota to Penn. state in 2002. Its always exciting cause I travel so much and have met some of the best people America has to offer from owners to operators and all in between.

I also want to give a shout out to Speedy for helping me get into this site and living up to his username cause he helped me in record time . LOL

Thanks

Sincerly

Yes, indeed, welcome to our small community of first-rate pumpers. And you are very welcome for the help logging in. as for the speed at which it got done, it was merely by chance that I was able help out so quickly.

Yea Biged it happens to alot of us as time goes on, I have had to use what is called a cheater in my welding hood. Its basically a magnifying plate like when you use reading glasses .

I know George the best, the others I have met but they likely dont remember me. I only worked at the factory a few weeks mostly for testing suff, the rest of the time I was on the road for them.

Thanks for the warm replies ,and to speedy for changing up the threads title.
